Customer experience and innovation consulting for companies in Moldova.
Swiss excellence, based in Chișinău.

A wrong direction costs you customers and revenue. I come in before the budget is committed, or when customers leave.

About

Hi, I'm Tim Schoch, a Swiss senior customer experience consultant and UX designer, in UX since 2014, for some of Switzerland's largest companies. Award winner, speaker at international UX conferences. Based in Moldova since 2021.

Workshops

Held in English in Chișinău. Each ends with a written report, in your inbox the next morning. Fixed prices, quoted in advance.

Discovery day

Strategic Where do we invest next?

You leave with the one problem worth solving, the ideal customers, the failure points of the current journey, and the measure of success.

For the board, owners or programme leads who decide where the next budget goes.

  • One problem statement, signed off by everyone in the room
  • The two or three customer groups that matter, their journey with the product or service and potential gaps in your current offering
  • Success metrics and scope clearly defined, before anyone builds

Deliverables

  • Value Proposition Canvas
  • Customer Journey Map

Decision sprint

Tactical We're stuck, how do we proceed?

You leave with the idea in its sharpest form, a prototype concept for customers, and a written decision with its reasoning. The debate ends in one day, not one quarter.

For founders and heads of product with an idea the team keeps going back and forth on. The direction is set, the plan is not.

  • The idea, cut to the one bet worth making
  • A prototype concept ready to test the following week
  • A one-page decision record: the choice, the reasons, and what would change it

Deliverables

  • Lean Canvas
  • Decision record

Reality check

Operational Why does something not work as expected?

Your team runs five sessions with customers, in Romanian or Russian, on your own product or service. Five sessions find the defects that cost you customers today. Your team repeats the method monthly without me.

For the team that runs a live product, service or app and has never watched a customer use it.

  • A reusable test script, written and applied by your team
  • Five moderated sessions, where you see what works and what does not
  • A report with a ranked list of what to fix first

Deliverables

  • Usability report
  • Rainbow spreadsheet

Rapid prototyping week

Tactical Will this idea work?

Five days of rapid prototyping. I bring the method and the prototyping team, you bring the business knowledge and the customer insights. By Friday evening you have a working prototype, feedback from real customers, an insights report and a backlog. The week is intense. Book it only if your team can give it full focus.

For companies with a digital or physical product, or a service, who want to take leaps instead of small steps. The natural next step after a Decision sprint.

  • A working prototype of your product or service, digital or physical. Feel how it works before you spend the full budget.
  • Customer sessions on the prototype. Go or no-go, based on evidence, not opinion.
  • Weeks ahead of your competition, in five days.

Deliverables

  • Working prototype
  • Insights report
  • Backlog

Up to five people per workshop. A limited number of days per year.

Questions

What does a workshop include?

  • Preparation with your team and a detailed plan you sign off.
  • The workshop day itself with any materials needed.
  • The written report the next morning, and a call a week later to go through it.
  • Venue and catering.
  • Optional: translation services.

What does it cost?

A fixed price per workshop, quoted after the first call.
No hourly rates.

In which language?

English. I understand most Romanian. If your team works in Russian, or you need translation from English to Romanian, I bring a translator at extra cost, or you provide one.

Can we hold it at our office?

No. A change of scene helps the team focus and will give you much better results.

The one exception: a Reality check with physical touchpoints that cannot be moved, such as a store. We agree this upfront.

How do you bill?

80% at order, the rest after the workshop.
2% discount for 100% at order.

If you cancel, you get a refund for the parts I have not yet worked on. If you move the date any incurred costs are passed on.
